Dear Vodafone,
Last week I bought a Doro phone for my mum online. I was unable to access my email and as a result I rang the helpline in Dublin. I was in Monaghan at the time. I was unable to ring today as I am in Fermanagh. The gentleman I spoke with on the phone was very helpful. He gave me two reference numbers to give to my mum. My mum is 72. She went to Monaghan on Monday to collect the phone, but was told she couldn't have it. She had the two reference numbers and photographic ID. My mum would never say a word about anyone, but she mentioned that the man wasn't very nice to her. Considering the fact that she had the reference numbers, he should have made further enquiries. I rang the Vodafone shop in Monaghan today. At one stage a young man told me that he wasn't there to be shouted at. What he failed to realize was that he kept interrupting me. He would not let me finish a sentence. I most likely got frustrated. My mum made a wasted journey. She still has no phone. She is just swapping over to Vodafone, and this is her first experience. I am very disappointed. I am a Vodafone customer in the North of Ireland. My husband is also a customer. The thing that frustrates me the most is the fact that the Vodafone staff were not only unhelpful, but were obviously not very nice. To an extremely quiet, polite 72 year old lady. On May 28, 2019, Euro 123. 65 was deducted from my account linked to my phone 087-974-2293. I find this to be over the top and excessive to say the least from Euro 30, that I was expecting. I request a reasonable refund please.
