The Sims is a well-known series of artificial life video games which came into existence in 4th of February 2000 with the effort of developer named Maxis. The Game is published and monitored by an American based retailer of video games named Electronic Arts, Inc. or Ea which was incorporated on 28th of May 1982 with headquarters in Redwood City, Redwood Shores, California, United States. On an average of 150 million copies of the video games were sold by the company in 2011. The major Sims game series are Racing, Shooting, Puzzle, RPG, Kids, Strategy and Simulation games. It allows players to create and customize virtual characters.
The Sims Series
The distinct series of the games released by the company includes The Sims, The Sims 2, The Sims 3 and The Sims 4. The Sims was the first game series which was opposed to isometric projection and runs on windows operating system. On 14th of September 2004, the company introduced The Sims 2 that provides 2D and 3D environment in games. Electronic Arts released Sims 3 on 2nd of June 2009 and The Sims 4 on 6th of May 2013 that runs on windows as well as Mobile operating systems.
