Service Tax Noida is Associated With and Known as:
Service Tax was imposed by Indian Government on the service providers in India. The Tax is accumulated by Service providers and the same is recompensed to the Government. Service Tax Commissionarate was formed on August 1997 and was located in Meerut in early days. In Meerut, Service Tax Commissionarate was named as Meerut–II Commissionerate. Service Tax Commissionarate was shifted to Noida on November, 2000 and was named as Noida Commissionerate of Central Excise and Customs on 26 June, 2001. Commissionarate was reorganised on ist November, 2002 by Central Board of Excise and Customs. In Noida Commissionarate was located at B-123, Sector 5 Noida but it was shifted to some other place in January, 2009 to C-56/42, Sector-62, Noida. The number of Ranges in Customs, Central Excise & Service Tax Noida is four but two of them are exclusively for Service Tax Commissionarate that is Service Tax Range-I & Service Tax Range-II.
