RCI Banque fully known as Renault Crédit International, an international company of France works mostly in insurance, financing and activities connected with the Renault group brands (Renault, Dacia, it's motors) universally and the Nissan group brands(Datsun, Nissan,) in south America. Renault bought Rci Banque as a subsidiary.
Company was initiated in 1974 as the Société Financière de Renault or Sofiren, it's purpose was to Show path to it's financing sales for its dealerships and to handle the automaker's cash flow and in 1980 on june 27 it was named as Renault Credit International (RCI) and in 1990, it merged with Diac (Diffusion Industrielle et Automobile par le Credit) SA, a company formed in 1924 by Louis Renault and in now a-days that is a subsidiary of RCI Banque. From 1990, RCI take part with above the one-third of Renault group's total income and in November 2001 the company was named as its present name as RCI Banque. From 2004, it had, combined with the PSA Banque, a ten percent sharing only in Volkswagen and Fiat banks. RCI Banque has subsidiaries in Colombia, Morocco, Argentina, Brazil, Russia, South Korea, the European Union and also in many other countries.
In February 2012, RCI Banque invested the ZESTO savings accounts internet-based firstly done through an automaker's subsidiary in France launched through a TV commercial from Romain Kunstlinger. It succeeded because of PSA Peugeot Citroën only. In 2012, RCI Banque take ZESTO to Germany and German version of ZESTO invested in 2013 known as RCI Bank Direkt.
