Oxford Valley Mall is a shopping mall, located at Langhorn, Pennsylvania. It was built in the year 1973. The mall is managed by Simon Property Group, which is an America based Real Estate Company. The developer of the mall was The Kravco Co. There are Three anchor tenants in the mall and a huge parking lot is available.
Description
It is a two story building. Oxford Valley Mall has a total retail area of about 1,334,000 square feet (123,900 meter square). More than 150 stores are housed in the mall including New York Deli and Grill, Sears, Macy's, TGI Friday's, J.C. Penney, Charlie Brown's, etc. The mall was renovated in the year 1990. There is a food court situated on the second floor of the mall. Some high-end stores like Abercrombie and Fitch and Coach are also opened in the mall.
History
The mall was established in early 1973. There was a Woolworth store at the second floor of the mall, which was replaced with the food court in the year 1995. Durind the same year the elevator was installed in the mall and the air conditioning system was upgraded. Wanamakers was also changed to Hercht's in this year. It was in the year 1997 that the May Department Stores, which is the parent company of Hercht's overtaken the Strawbridge's chain, and thus Hecht's was converted to Strawbridge's. The four anchor tenants of the mall are H&M (22,000 square feet or 2,000 meter square), Macy's (195,407 square feet or 18,153.9 meter square), Sears (173,000 square feet or 16,100 meter square), JCPenney (226,336 square feet or 21,027.3 meter square).
