MLC or the Martin Luther College came into existence by an amalgamation of two colleges named the Dr. Martin Luther College and the Northwestern College. The college has maintained and operated by the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod and accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. The college started its journey in 1995 and completely to practice upcoming pastors, instructor as well as staff ministers for the community ministry in the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod. This educational organization has endowed with dedicated employees who handles their students with care, committed to the mission of preparing students for ministry and maintains connections with co-workers. The eighty faculty members of the Martin Luther College are spiritually mature Christians and real parish. The campus of the college has covered an area of more than fifty acres and located in New Ulm, Minnesota, just twenty five miles from Mankato. Its campus includes four residence halls, a library, an academic center, media center, student union, computer labs, gym, auditorium, fitness center, two music halls etc. With the regular education, the Martin Luther College has regularly encouraged its students for participate in games, these games include baseball, softball, soccer, tennis, football etc. Other facilities provides by the college are: an indoor pool, a movie theater, hall, a golf course, stores, a bike trail, restaurants, Flandrau State Park, a filtered swimming pond, hiking trails and many more. The college has offered variety of courses and educational programs, such as Elementary Education, Secondary Education, Early Childhood Education, Staff Ministry, Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Science in Education, Master of Science in Education. The Martin Luther has provided education to over 700 students, of which 49% are males and 51% are females. The college was recognized with the mission to to train a corps of Christian, strengthen the student, educate the students according to the requirements of todays world, assist students to aquire attitudes and skills as well as motivate the students for devoting towards community, Church and world.
