Maulana Azad Dental College is a dental college and hospital located within the campus of Maulana Azad Medical College situated in New Delhi, India. It was established in the year 1983 as the Dental Wing and the first batch of the BDS was started in year 1983. The Dental wing was granted an Independent status on December 26, 2003 under the Government of NCT of Delhi. The institute offers undergraduate and post-graduate programs in Dental Surgery (BDS and MDS) and the admission to the course takes place on the basis of merit scored in the All India and Delhi Pre-Medical Test. It is one of the best dental institutions of India and has been accredited by the National Board of Accreditation for Hospitals and Healthcare Providers. The Maulana Azad Dental College is fully air-conditioned and has state-of-the-art facilities and the facilities provided by the institute include air conditioned and fully equipped Library, separate hostel facilities for boys and girls, mess facility, auditorium, common room facility, amphitheater, badminton court and counseling cell.
