She did her bachelors in Science from the University College London in year 1902 and received a D.sc degree from the University College London. She received Ph. D in the Palaeobotany at the University of Munich in year 1904. Marie Stopes died from Breast Cancer in Dorking, Surrey, United Kingdom.
