KWSP originally known as Kumpulan Wang Simpanan Pekerja in Malaysian and is Employees Provident Fund (EPF) agency that works under country Ministry of Finance. The agency was created in the year of 1991. The company’s headquarters is located in Bangunan KWSP, Jalan Raja Laut 50350 Kuala Lumpur, Wilayah Persekutuan Malaysia.

It is compulsory for every Malaysian Citizen to be a member of Epf agency who is working in both private and public sector. Before the foundation of this agency, Employees Provident Fund Board used to take care of Employees Provident Fund facility in the country that was formed in 1951 following Employees Provident Fund Ordinance 1951. The ordinance later in 1982 converted into an Act called EPF Act 1951. The role of the agency is to take care of the savings plan, retirement plans for private sector workers in the country.
