Kingston University is a research university, established in the year 1899. The university has four campuses and the main campus is located in Kingston upon Thames, England, United Kingdom. Campuses of the university are located in Roehampton and Kingston and the university is affiliated to the Million+ and University Alliance.
History
The Kingston University was established in the year 1899 as Kingston Technical Institute and in the year 1957, it was recognized as the Regional College of Technology. The Kingston University gained the status of university in the year 1992.
Academics
The Kingston University offers undergraduate and post-graduate programs in five faculties divided into various schools including Faculty of Arts, Design and Architecture, Faculty of Social Sciences, Faculty of Business and Law, Faculty of Science, Engineering and Computing and Faculty of Health and Social Care and Education. More than twenty-three thousand students are enrolled in the university in various undergraduate and post-graduate courses in four campuses of the University in and around Kingston upon Thames. The university also has number of research centers run by the Faculty of Art and Design and the university also offers various part-time and sandwich courses.

The main attraction of the University is John Galsworthy building and the building houses lecture theaters, knowledge center, laptop bar, information technology suites and flexible teaching space. The other facilities include six residence halls, multiple projection systems, video-conferencing and learning resource center.
