The main goal of building this plant is to design around 2000 Hyundai sonatas in one week. In 2009, the company resumed manufacturing vehicles by building a new plant in Canada. But after few months, the plant is being sold by a Quebec real estate developer. As Canada does not have any local plant but still it is the number one car brand of Canada and around 100,000 cars sold every year.
