Hans Raj College came into presence on July 26, 1948 by the efforts of DAV College Managing Committee but its inauguration were held on 3rd October 1954 by Dr. Rajendra Prasad, the first President of India. The school is dedicated to Mahatma Hans Raj, a famous Indian educationist. Hans Raj College is also counted among the 700 institutions of Dayanand Anglo-Vedic group whereas serves about 5000 plus students annually which pertains to all over India.
