Great Escape is a theme and water park in New York, United States. It is the Ideal theme park for family vacation. Great Escape owned and monitored less than Six Flag Entertainment Corporation. The park is situated in the Albany province of Queensbury, New York, United States. It spreads in an area of about 351 acres.
History
Great Escape opened its doors for the public in the year 1954 as Storytown USA, an amusement park based on Mother Goose theme by Charles wood. Later in 1983, the park renamed as The Great Escape from Storytown USA. The park started a steamin demon, a seven roller coaster in 1984. With expansion in park, the company started The Six Flags Great Escape Lodge & Indoor Waterpark, restaurants and several other sections of attraction. The park is owned by Six Flags in the year 1996.

Great Escape Park is designed with various rides and attractions, which makes its tourist and vocational place. The park compromises theme areas, fest areas, ghosttown, international village and storytown, timbertown, kidzopolis, splashwater kingdom and upcharge attractions. Great Escape Park offers several facilities through its services such as ATM, Comet cash, first aid, lockers, lost and found, personal care attendants, drinking fountains, telephones and restrooms.

The Park consists of 35 total rides, six Roller coasters and ten Water rides. It provides a wide range of facilities like water play areas, water slides, water playgrounds, lazy rivers, splash pads or other recreational bathing, swimming and barefooting environments. The park is also used for Birthday parties, Dance and DJ parties, Kitty parties, etc.
