Brief History
Grand and Toy was started in 1882 by James Grand. Initially the printing business of stationery was started from his home. James Grand collaborated with Samuel Toy and opened the first retail showroom in Toronto, Canada in 1883. Boise Office Solutions made an acquisition of Grand and Toy and rebranded to OfficeMax Inc. The head office was shifted from Toronto to new place in 33 Green Belt Drive, Don Mills, Ontario. The major re-branding was done in 2013, changing Grand & Toy to OfficeMax Grand & Toy.
