Types of fleets
Ro-Ro ship is a type of vessel which is specially meant to transport large vehicles such as cars, trucks, etc. Some of the Ro-Ro vessels are Angilona Seaways, Begonia Seaways, Jutlandia Seaways, Mangolia Seaways and many more.
Ro-Pax ships are the combination Ro-Ro vessels and passenger ships which are designed to carry both passenger and cargo. History
The journey of the Det forenede Dampskibs-Selskab (DFDS) was started in 1829 by the Danish financier Carl Frederik Tietgen in Odense, Denmark. The company commenced its services in 1875 form Esbjerg to England through the west Coast of Jutland.
