History
British Airways Company was founded by two domestic airline companies, named British Overseas Airways Corporation (BOAC) and British European Airways (BEA) in 1974 and after thirteen years it became a private company. Later in 1988, the company expanded operations by acquiring British Caledonian. In 1992, it acquired some routes of Dan Air.
