History
BMO Harris Bank began business in the year 1882 by the efforts of Norman Wait Harris under the name N.W. Harris & Co. From 1907 to 1972, the bank was known with Harris Trust and Savings. In 1960, the bank got merged with Chicago National Bank and became Harris Bankcorp Inc. After many changes, it has given the name Bmo Harris Bank in 2005.
