My name is Jim Ball and I am contacting you on behalf of my Father inlaw, Mr Patrick Mcgrath of 136 Esker Lawns Lucan(account 81454169.)
Mr McGrath is 90 and although blind is very astute and living in Australia except for three months when he returns to Ireland in the Northern Summer. His partner Dr Monica Green is 85 and herself somewhat doddery and confused. For quite some months they have been trying to activate his pin number for his online banking and getting nowhere. (The associated card ends with the digits 7609 exp 6/20). After numerous phone calls since well before Christmas to +353 one 404 4000 to activate the pin number and sending his documents, including the original report from his opthalmologist testifying to his blindness and a copy of his passport and bank statements and services accounts indicating his address. (not once, but twice and we have been advised that you have received them)and promises that you will contact him directly so as the pin can be activated and still nothing happens. This situation has now become intolerable and distressing for both Mr Mcgrath and his partner as his reserves are running low and they are being subsidised by my wife and I. We tried to access funds from an ATM in Australia recently, but that card too would now seem to be blocked. Could you please tell us where he goes from here and how this problem gets resolved quickly?
