Aurora Metra Station also named as Aurora Transportation Center is a union station centralized on Metra's suburban rail line, BNSF Railway Line in Aurora. It comprises 2 platforms and tracks respectively. Aurora Metra Station was inaugurated in the year of 1986 to serve the riders of Aurora via Pace Bus routes. The distinct connecting services are provided under following banners- Pace 907, Pace 802, Pace 533, Pace 532,Pace 530, Pace 529, Pace 28, Pace 524 and Pace 521. In addition to Aurora Station, Metra operates approximately 240 stations on 11 distinct rail lines like BNSF Railway Line, Heritage Corridor, Milwaukee District West line, South West Service, Union Pacific Northwest line, Union Pacific West line, North Central Service and other. It commenced its operation in 1984 and today it is reputed as 4th busiest commuter rail system in the United States. Metra has partnership with Union Pacific railroad, serviced by nearly 45, 400 people and Burlington Northern Santa Fe railroad i.e. BNSF. Depending on the requirements, one can buy one-way tickets, ten-ride tickets, weekend passes and monthly passes to enjoy rides on Aurora Metra Station.
