I got thrown on the Amtrak train coming from Omaha to Chicago. I was in the disability accessible sleepette room getting up to use the rest room. The train either swerved or rounded a track, but either way I was thrown to the other side of the room. I was by the door where there is no handle to hold onto, so I hit the wall fell on my knees and shoulder. One hitting the wall giving me a rug like burn. My sister was in the room with me and was screaming because she couldn’t grab me. I’m a heavyset woman with three knee replacements which still hurts and falling on them didn’t help. I was shaken up, but only felt the pain from the rug burn. This happened on August 31st 2018. I told the attendant named Steve about me falling and he looked at me like “what do you want me to do?” I didn’t ask if there was some kind of paperwork that could be filled out because I think I was in shock. Well now I’m hurting in my shoulders, knees, hands and wrists. So what can be done about this?.
