Dear Ms Hirsch
Re your forthcoming appearance on Channel four continuing your relentless attack on a country and people who have treated you with enormous generosity I would put it to you that you are motivated by some psychological disturbance related to your mixed parentage (Jewish father negro mother?) There's an element of self-loathing in it. Disliking someone whom you think is better than you is natural -, but it is ugly and petty. As for Churchill not liking Indians (something he shares with millions of people around the globe) and Nelson having 'unacceptable' views about slavery how do these sins compare with the racist murders of 800, 000 people only 30 years ago? These murders carried out not with Western arms, but with farm and kitchen implements are forgotten about because they were 'black on black'Can you imagine a white Briton going to some Third World country and demolishing the reputation of one of their heroes (if he could find one) How long would he last? Third World immigrants are really runnin g away from themselves - from their own handiwork, the mess they have made of their countries after the British departed.

Moderation? What's this? Communist Russia? Live where tomorrow? I was just trying to send Ms Hirsch some comments.

An interesting program on Tuesday (The Battle For Britain's Heroes) and no surprise to me that Churchill appeared to be a racist. It is however recorded that he also had a very low opinion of the working class in Britain, saying that the country was 'breeding off the wrong people' So maybe he was a snob as well.
