History
Fagersta Mill began making carbide tools in 1932 under the brand Seco. Seco Tools started its business with the present building structure of 1968-1972, when several other hard metal companies were merged with Seco Tools AB and product manufactured were parceled to Fagersta Bruks AB. In the year 1968 the company shifted to its current main facility. Fagersta Bruks carbide department also produced rock drills that continued within the parent company and parceled as Uniroc. The company was a part of the Atlas Copco called Atlas Copco Secoroc.
