Metro Richmond Zoo is the zoological park that is specially meant for the animal species. The zoo was founded in 1980 by Jim Andelin but publicly opened on April 22, 1995. It provides the entertainment and knowledge for the people regarding the animals. The zoo covers large area about 70 acres which is located in the central Virginia on the western side of I-95. This zoo is the home of 1,400 animals and 150 spices that includes snow leopard, reticulated giraffe, cheetah, grant's zebra and white rhinoceros.
