The Ontario Disability Support Program or Odsp is a social assistance program offered by The Ontario Ministry of Community and School Services to the residents of Ontario, Canada who have a disability.

The Ontario Ministry Of Community and School Services is entitled to promote the livelihoods of people with disability through its various social assistance services such as The Ontario Disability Support Program (ODSP) and Ontario Works. Ontario Works is offered to the handicapped people who want temporal monetary assistance for paying rents and other household expenditures. Only the people living in Ontario can receive the Benefits offered under the Ontario Works.

The Ontario Disability Support Program (ODSP) is a government funded program which is formed to provide assistance services to the people with disabilities. The program is divided into the Ontario Disability Income Support and Ontario Disability Employment support.

The Ontario Disability Income Support is granted to a qualifying resident in the form of monthly allowances which is offered as per their living conditions. The Income Support covers property taxes, rents etc. This service is also offered to the people living on Northern Ontario and is referred as Northern Allowance. Under this program the benefits received by the disabled people are in the categories of incentives, health care benefits etc.

The Ontario Disability Employment support provides an opportunity to the people who have a disability to work or establish a business by offering assistance in the categories of on the job training, providing tools and equipment to set up a business and help in finding a job etc.
