I am trying to find out my options for returning to work amid this pandemic, first off I am not entirely satisfied with the numbers we are seeing of new cases, but however my problem is this I am a custodian for the flint schoolos never understood why they never shut down anyway because there were no kids in school so after disinfecting took place no one entering the schools what was the purpose in remaining in these buildings? now I am being told that it is time for me to return to work to my understanding things were put in place for people like myself who were directly affected by schools closing and not having any other options for childcare so now we are here things opening back up, but not schools and daycare, also no summer programs for the children except online however my company is saying that I must return or resign can you please shed some light on this situation to my knowledge only two people took off and received unemployment during the pandemic and we are both now still without child care stuck between a rock and a hard place. I do not know what to do I would still be working now through the summer, but there would have been summer day camps for the children if not for the pandemic please help.
