The college was inaugurated by the five citizens i.e. Prof M.P.L Sastry, Sri G.A Acharya, Prof B.R Subba Rao, Sri M Chinnaswamy and Smt Vimala Rangachar. It is an intermediate college which offers various courses for different fields like Arts, science and commerce.
