The building was inaugurated in the year 1930 and owned by the Vornado Realty Trust. The building was designed by the famous architects named as Grahm, Anderson, Probst and White. Due to its 4,000,000 square feet of area, the building has become the largest building throughout the world. Initially, it was owned by Marshall Field & Co but later on it was authorized to Kennedy Family for only half century.
