Jell-o is one of the brands owned by Kraft Foods and features a gelatin based foods, non bake cream pies, fruit gels, pudding etc. Its line of products include the key ingredients like gelatin, sugar, food coloring and artificial flavors. In its journey of over 100 years, its popularity earned it a synonym for the gelatin food products in Canada and the USA. All Jell-O's gelatin products are available in powder form and is the ready to eat. Coming to the preparation of the Jell-O, it is first dissolved in Hot water then is allowed to be cool before placing in the refrigerator. Jell-O formula was invented by New York based carpenter, PB Wait while his wife, May added fruit flavors to the gelatin. In 1899, it was purchased by Orator Woodward and in 1902 it received public attention after being published in Ladies'Home Journal in 1902. Jell-O was launched in new flavors like cherry, peach and chocolate in 1930's. In 1927, it set its feet in Canadian market and was endorsed by celebrities like Ethel Barrymore and Ernestine Schumann-Heink. In 1950's, it introduced savory flavors in mixed vegetables, tomato etc. Jell O Museum has been set up in LeRoy, New York, where Jell O has been originated. The museum was listed in the National Register of Historic Places in 1997.

Just an FYI I was making sugar free pudding today and when I opened the box there was absolutely nothing in it. I have never had this happen before and it does not look like the package was previously open. I do not know if this happens frequently, but just wanted to let you know. Thank You.
