telephone and television service works over a fibre-optic
communication network. It is introduced in few areas in United States by Verizon Communication and and Frontier Communications. Fibre-to-home was firstly introduced in U.S by Verizon and got positive approach by consumers. Initial service started in 2005 and areas under networking coverage expanded in 2010 but some areas were yet out of this service Due to some agreements like franchise agreement.
History of Fios Mass
In Keller, Texas the Verizon Communications firstly took the responsibility to create television service more accurate, qualitative having more speed in communication by using fibre-optics instead of copper wires. Firstly 9000 customers were using the service and with the passage of time the number increased.
In 2006,Verizon and Motorola took a joined venture to bring its customers home DVR access.
