I am considering buying some Panthers tickets. Before I di I would like to know the Panthers position with regards to standing for the national anthem.

Been fan of yours since the beginning of your organization, veteran of this country, but when you sign that disrespectful Reid was day my support ended. Just sorry you got Carolina in your name and are in this state. Thru with NFL too disrespectful to my fellow brothers in our great military.

I was truly disappointed to see someone in a Panther uniform kneeling during the national anthem. I do not watch the NFL any more because of the disrespect shown to our veterans, police, and nation by players kneeling during the national anthem. I am not against protest and there are many ways to protest in our country, but as a veteran to see young men who make millions of dollars playing a game that better men died for our flag and national anthem to protest in this way is a disgrace. The Panther owner and staff should be ashamed for allowing this to occur. J. R. Robinson.

I am a Vietnam Veteran and a southerner. I read with distaste responses to Eric Reed taking the knee during the National Anthem. I support every persons right to express their displeasure with what is happening in the US. If Eric Reed and every other football takes a knee, it is their right and I support them.

To the Carolina Panthers Owner and General Manager, I am very offended by the action that you have allowed one of your "Paid Employees" to exhibit. When Eric Reed decided to take a knee during the National Anthem, he severely injured his career and the Carolina Panthers team. I will not be purchasing any merchandise supporting the panthers. I will not be attending any of your games. I, along with MANY friends, are asking everyone we know to boycott your games and any financial support to your team. Here is the problem, He is being paid. He should not be allowed to do anything in uniform that you as his employer do not support. So, the way I see it, you are to blame as much as he is. Eric is a disgrace to the team and the NFL. How do you disrespect the National Anthem and you have never given or sacrificed anything for anyone else? Seems kind of funny to me that he gets paid the high salary and our military gets paid almost a poverty rate. He gets paid to play, they serve and protect Reed doesn't have a clue what or why he supports what he does. He has never been in the position of any officer or veteran and been in fear of losing his life. The only fear he has is loosing his LARGE SALARY and his living standards being lowered. Anyway, I'm not supporting the Carolina panthers and will not as long as you support this kind of behavior. Sincerely, Randy Higgins .

WHY no email address provided. I FEFUSE to even acknowledge that so-called social media platforms exist. I have never used one and never will. I REFUSE to allow cookies, you do NOT need them to receive criticism of panther play. Question for the coaching staff: When will you begin DEMANDING that defensive players, especially, stop trying to stop a runner or receiver with only a shoulder? How many yards, and even touchdowns are give up due to the pure arrogance of these "players" who think(?) they areso special that locking their arms around another player is beneath them?.

LOL, you can bench Gano, but until the owner gets rid of Newton and Riveria, you will never win ballgames. They have been the problem all along. Couple games ago, Newton had a 1st and eight so he throws four passes over the receivers head? He is so bad, it almost looks like he does it on purpose. Just my two cents worth.

This is an observation on 12/17/2018. I coached High School and Middle School Football for 32 years before I retired in 2008. I have a Masters Degree in Health and PE. I have seen what injuries can do to Quarterbacks throwing form. Monday night I watched Cam throw from his shoulder and especially the last series. He has no strength in his upper arm and it was shown in the week before when he was replaced to throw the "Hail Mary" the last play of the game. Cam is an outstanding athlete, but he needs surgery or therapy to repair his shoulder. Being out of the playoffs, use his backup now.
