YMCA stands for Young Men's Christian Association that is a not for profit organization and is aimed to put Christian faith and values in life. The association helps people to maintain healthy body, mind and spirit and strengthen the foundation of the communities. The association is operated by the Board of Directors and is headed by the chairperson. There are 8 health care branches located in Canada. Ymca consists of round and recreation pool, gym, indoor walking path, weight room, aerobics room, swimming pool and many more. Various types of child care programs are provided by the child care centers opened by YMCA such as infant care, toddler care, preschool care and many more. The community programs offered by the association includes Outdoor Education, YMCA children's safety village, Outdoor Education, Family Centers and many more. Many types of services related to childhood education, public health, sports and leisure are offered at the YMCA family centers. YMCA serves as the largest charity organization that consists of many departments including YMCA Health, YMCA Fitness and Recreation, YMCA Child and Family programs, YMCA Camps, YMCA Outdoor Education, Youth Support Services and Newcomer programs, YMCA Employment, Skills Development and many more.
