As the name suggests, Barrie Drive Test Center is the location where driving tests are examined for the people of Barrie, Canada. This drive test center is operated by Serco DES company that is licensed by the Ministry of Transportation of Ontario. The company got the license on September 2, 2003, and since then it is operating approximately 56 driver examination centers and 39 travel points around the Ontario province of Canada. This drive test center was setup to impose the practice of road safety throughout the Ontario, and to support the responsibilities of the Ministry of Transportation. Every year, the company collects approximately one million driver documents, and process approximatley 600,000 driver license applications. Apart from this, over 725,000 road test, and 500,000 written tests are annually taken by the company. The company also provides basic driving skills, and makes the driver aware of all the roads safety skills, and other safe driving techniques. It also provides beginner driver education, and provides driving license to those who are 16 and above.
