In 1928, the bank shifted to the Joseph M. Boyd Building and it purchased the latter in 1939. In 1940, the bank adopted a new name Anchor Savings and Loan Association. In the year 1976, Anchor Bank established its presence in Boscobel and after that in Meadowood and Middleton. 1983 was the year when the bank joined hands with First Federal Savings. The partnership resulted in adding of branches in Lake Geneva and Delavan locations. After one year, it gave birth to the Anchor Insurance Services and opened offices in Monona, Verona and New Glarus areas. 1995 was the year when the bank purchased the assets of F.S.B. In January 2013, Rodney Weck became the new Director of the Personal Banking.
